On Wednesday, November 26 GREG RIKAART (Kevin) and EMILY O'BRIEN (Jana) appear in a showcase on PRICE, with a surprise ending.
Y&R Screentest Hits St. Louis
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is teaming up with KMOV Channel 4's "Great Day St. Louis" and Soft Rock102.5 KEZK to find one talented St. Louis actress who will travel to Hollywood and appear in an episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Actor BRYTON MCCLURE (Devon) will make an appearance. The screen test, which is open to women between 18 and 35 years old, will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, 100 Carondelet Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63105.
First round open call interviews for eligible actresses will be held on Friday, November 14, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Those wishing to audition should bring a completed copy of the registration form, a signed release (both available online) and a recent photograph. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, November 15 for participants advancing to the second round of auditions and, for finalists, an on-camera test with actor Bryton McClure.
On September 17, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS taped its 9,000th episode, which will air on Tuesday, October 14. Our congratulations go out to the cast and crew for such a long and successful run!
Rauch joins Y&R Team
PAUL RAUCH has joined the series as co-executive producer. Paul brings a wealth of experience to Y&R, having served as an executive producer for more than 30 years on such series as GUIDING LIGHT, "Santa Barbara", "One Life to Live" and "Another World." Paul has also served as a producer and consultant on "SPTI" series overseas, including the Russian hit, "Poor Anastasya."
MARIA ARENA BELL has been promoted to co-executive producer while continuing to serve as head writer.
Paul will be overseeing the production of the show and Maria will continue to be in charge of the story.
Also, CAMILLE ST. CYR has joined the production team as casting director. Some of Camille’s previous credits include overseeing casting on the CBS prime time series NCIS and JAG for three seasons. She has also cast numerous pilots. Camille began her casting career in daytime at "General Hospital" and Port Charles followed by a stint at CBS Talent and Casting.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS reached 1,000 consecutive weeks as the #1 rated daytime drama series against regular scheduled programming, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending February 29, 2008. The streak began more than 19 years ago in December, 1988.
